Tinton's '88 Fiero GT 5-speed
...and I got another 1 the same day . Best thing is, its a 5-speed!
Old car:
1988 Pontiac Fiero GT, 3-speed automatic, 47k miles on it, absolute perfect condition.
The car was stock except for those wheels and 1" lowering springs on the front. Those wheels ended up on my 1986 Fiero SE, while that car got its stock 15" black lace wheels back.
Pics of the new car coming up in a sec...uploading.

New car: 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. 5-speed manual, 63k miles on it, its about a 9/10 car. The paint is great, but it has some issues. The hood was removed at one time and it isn't aligned right...there's a pretty big gap between the hood and the nose of the car. The stereo system inside the car seems to have issues (mostly headunit though) but an aftermarket CD player is going in there. The car also has a couple of scratches and stuff in the interior, and it smells a little bit like smoke. Besides that, the car is VERY good. It has brand new brake components all around with crossdrilled and slotted rotors, the engine just had a tune-up and it has an Ocelot exhaust system on it with a ported throttlebody and upper intake. New shocks and struts all around, and it has a strut bar on the rear. Not only that but it also has brand new clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, and shift linkage.
And, less than 2 hours after I bought it, I was sitting at a Checkers drivethru and a guy asked if it was a Lotus, lol.

Thanks, yup, they're Scion tC wheels, they fit right on my car with no modifications. Look good too.VTECaddict wrote:are those tC rims? looks nice.
BTW I also forgot to mention that it came with the brown leather interior and it also has full polyurethane bushings all around. It feels VERY tight and there's like no body roll at all.

Yeah back when I put those pictures up there were NO pictures up on that wikipedia article. Its only been recently that anyone else took enough interest to put pictures of their cars up there.Trev wrote:Looks like someone was a little photo happy on Wikipedia:

I think its mostly the setting. The pics I got of the new Fiero were taken on a partly cloudy day, and a little earlier in the day, so the sun was different. When I got those pics of my old red '88 GT it was right at 4:30pm in January on a sunny day. Those of my new red '88 GT were taken at about 4:00pm right here in August on a partly cloudy hazy day.black94boost wrote:I like the color of the paint on the new Fiero, but I like the glossiness of the paint on your old one
