Re: Sypher's new ride!
Well, at any rate, the Honda civic si antenna for 2003-05 or whatever is pretty much the same antenna you got there. I kind of like the nub but at one point I saw the "RC style" and said oh what the heck, but got a stock one from a cheap honda parts site anyhow.

Re: Sypher's new ride!
Getting prokit in the summer... Rims are waiting until next year.. or until my winters wear out.. then I can get winters on my stock alloys and sell the steelies, and get new rims... probably not gonna be RX-8s.. WAY too overplayed...
On another note, side moldings are gone and so is the dealership sticker and the '3' emblem in the back... pics to come as the car is still super dirty =(... planning to wash today

Very nice.
Noticed you guys still have lots of snow left on the ground. This year we have gotten a record amount but by now thankfully it's all gone.

Good to see the moldings/badge delete! That's a great way to identify other Mazda3 enthusiasts.

Re: Sypher's new ride!
So i fixed up the fogged headlight on Tues, and decided that since the headlight's opened, I'd do something I don't see much on Mz3s.. painted the chrome rings black. Stepped outside to take some pics this afternoon, but after looking at the sky (clouds), I'd figure it'd be fun to try some HDR shots
Re: Sypher's new ride!
Everybody's a photographer these days. Awesome shots.
I think it flows better without the chrome on there, maybe leave the fog lights as they are, but you should definitely do the same on the back. Did you smoke your lenses as well, or is that just a trick of the lighting and absence of the chrome?

Re: Sypher's new ride!
Thx
The lens are not smoked... probably lighting illusion from the black
I've thought of doing the back too, but the only reason why I even did this was because I had to bake open the light anyways to fix the fogged light problem (see 1st post). I might do the rears, but that wouldn't be til much later in the future.
The fog light rings, along with the emblems will become dark/blood red when I get my rims in the future (It's a secret until then )

Re: Sypher's new ride!
Well, it's been a while since I've updated... since then, there's been quite a bit of changes....
6000K HID, eyelids, red emblems, dropped (eibach prokit), new front lip (installed today), short shifter which is going in real soon
Here's updated pics shot earlier today (dont mind the dirt/road kills (will be washed tomorrow)) as the pics were to mainly show off the new lip and drop
and here's a shot of the back end showing off the red emblems (not taken today)

Looks good but would look awesome w/o the eyelids. I think they are a bit tacky and don't look clean.
