Possible exhaust problem?

Synchros shot? Weird noises while shifting? Not sure what needs to be replaced?

Turns out the noise is the heat shield. I popped the hood this morning and heard the same type of noise, but much lower. I pressed my hand against it, it went away :o . So yeah, problem identified. Now I don't care right now. Haha.

Thank you! Turns out I may have been using the wrong terminology. It's the exhaust manifold cover. The part with the no touching icon on it. Not my car btw

so i was driving the truck today and (unfortunately) teaching my girlfriend how to drive...she did surprisingly well for a woman (OXYMORON!) and she only stalled once. except she went to start it again and nothing. all the lights went out and everything...f*ck. bump started it and drove away just fine.

20 minutes later i went to the next town over to grab some smokes (only place that carries my brand) and i went to launch on a hill (maybe 10-15º incline) and stalled...in the middle of a huge intersection during rush hour...f*ck. managed to bump start it while my just got out of the car to not add weight to the car. both jumped in and it drove just fine.

about 30 minutes ago i was driving up my street just coming back from my cousins and i stopped to let my friend out at his car and then i would park in the next door neighbors driveway (the guys dead. free driveway!) i go to launch and it stalls. starts again just fine, go to launch it again and boom...straight dead. tried to bump start it...nothing. f*ck. push it up to his car so i can jump start it and when i clamp the negative battery terminal BOOM everything comes on (i forgot to turn everything off after it died). headlights, interior lights, heat and the beepy noise my truck makes when the doors open. utter confusion. i go to pull the negative battery clamp off and the negative battery cable is loose as f*******ck. screw that f*cker on and bam everything runs fine. after the cable was on tight it launched alot easier (i figure probably more spark to the cylinder now that theres no arcing between the cable and the battery)

i had to bump start my car 3 times today and the whole time my battery never died...just thought it did. FML

 . Gonna see if a shop can fix the issue(possibly a welding job of some sort.). Not feeling this annoying rattle. I checked under my car to see if any of the other parts of the exhaust are bad. Surprisingly not.
