CAR GOING CRAZY o.0

Synchros shot? Weird noises while shifting? Not sure what needs to be replaced?

CAR GOING CRAZY o.0

Post by solo0590 »

So I installed my AEM cold air, and when I turned the key all the way right, and turned on my head lights (also when then car on),the high beams light on my dash went on but my lights weren't on, the hazards went on also w/o them being on, and my wiper blades started moving o.0.

Anyone got any idea what happened? I got a 1.8T GLI btw.

Thanks!

Yup. Didn't even need to post the symptoms, just this:

Ok, now a little more seriously... Once I thought my sister's car had electrical problems. It turned out that I forgot that her controls were different than mine, so when I operated them (without looking) I'd get unexpected results every time. I doubt that's your problem but it may be worth triple-checking...

Have you looked around the area where you were working for unplugged or shorted wires?

Could easily be something like that. Sometimes the biggest headaches with cars have the easiest solutions. Although finding it may be a pain
