Car doesn't start!

Well today I got up for work and went to my car. I go to start it and it cranks...and cranks...and cranks. I found that the main relay works because I hear it click and the igniter unit is good, because I had two. I have no CELs. The car was running like a champ last night. :(

Go back to basics. Make sure the engine has spark & fuel. Those are the very first things to check.

It's got spark. I am guessing it isn't getting fuel. I will have to check the Throttle body Tomorrow.

Can you hear the fuel pump energizing when you first turn the key?

Thats a decent looking car.

So today because its a throttle bodied engine I decided to throw some raw gas into the throttle. It didn't work.

pull a plug and Czech to see F N it's wet.

Is there a place to vent the fuel line up near the injectors? Vent the pressure and then see F N it pressurizes again with the negst attempted start.

It was dry, but it smelled of gas. Also the injectors do spray fuel.

EDIT The plugs were wet. Also I am getting a brownish spark. I am wondering about this coil though, it says in the book it should be 9.XXX to 14.XXXX. Now I don't know if thats 9000 to 14000 ohms or just 9.000 to just 14.000 ohms.

I got to use my dads car. 01 Taurus slushbox. I tell you the thing rides like a dream...but does not take bumps well.

It felt good to get back behind the wheel of the civic. I tell you nothing like pulling in a gear and shifting whenever I want.

Drove a couple year old Mazda 3 last night at work. It was an auto, but showed you the gear it was in on a display on the dash, like if you were driving a manual and it had electronic HUD. I was very confused at first.

It had paddle shifters? Those seem nice.

Nope, no paddle shifters. Just the shifter where instead of 2nd and "low" is has +/- and you can shift through all the gears by going up and down. Kind of like a driving arcade game. Though I have driven several cars that do. Unless I were really racing, I think I just ignore them for the most part. The Camry SE has them, but it won't let you blow anything up by being in the wrong gear, so it can be set in 4th from a stop and it will automatically switch to 1st for you. The lazy side of me lets it take over.
