My sisters 06 honda civic's radio gets fuzzy whenever you turn on the rear defroster.
why? any fixes? I assume the electrics are too close, but i don't actually know and she finds it annoying

Is her voltage going low - does it sound lousy at idle, with the headlights and HVAC blower motor on, but better when the engine is spinning a little faster?

Very likely what Rope said. My 03 Accord had a defroster mounted antenna.
