Car won't start? - 2006 Ford Focus

Synchros shot? Weird noises while shifting? Not sure what needs to be replaced?

Don't be sorry, it means i probably won't die on the way to class today, lol. If my clutch stops working, its generally an indication that i'm going to have a really bad day...

there is such a thing as "clutch by wire", but i don't know if it's in any production cars and i'm 99.99% certain it's not in yours. it's pointless technology anyway, you might as well do away with the pedal if the computer is going to control the clutch.

as long as the car drives fine i wouldn't be too worried about that little thing there. i still can't think of any purpose for a sensor to know that the pedal is all the way out. maybe some of the more mechanically inclined members will find their way in here.

Thanks for all the help guys. I'm glad its not controlled by the computer, to be honest i don't really trust electronics when it comes to something that important. Well, i'm sure i'll be back at some point, but for now I think i'm content that my car starts ;-)

You have a point, but, "There's always one".

Usually, it's the one that brings the mega flamethrower. At least that's my luck...
