Not that I've tried it for engine braking, I am finding that rev-matching is fun, even if I still goof it once in awhile. I drove my friend's new Jetta with the 2.5 and he said he hadn't even worked up the nerve to try to RMDS yet so I had fun with it. Then I drove his mom's car, he's carsitting while they're on vacation.
