We're mostly old people who work during the day

Cow, mtheis, and I are usually on during the day hours until like 8-ish pm eastern. After that, I'm not on often once I leave work so you'd have to check with them.

Looks like you connected ok and just need to join the channel.

You could try disabling SSL.

disabled that. now i get this:

* Looking up irc.cedarparkserver.com

(using xchat on ubuntu 12.04)

Non-SSL port = 9000
SSL port = 9001

You may or may not need to (un)check the SSL option in your client as well. I saw some people on the channel last night! Maybe yall can come on again during the daytime when cow and I are active?
