Some latest study sez wimminz have wurst time with Oldtimer's Disease. Starts at younger age and progresses more steeply downward. The plan now is to try to find out why, and then see if there may be some ways to counter the mechanism.

wind....so much fun. apparently the grand rapids airport recorded a gust of 70mph...beating a record of 3 years prior? which was like 50mph record.

power did go out - for street lamps and stop lights, but all the homes in my area kept power. very weird walking without street lamps - i carried a flashlight so drivers could see me!

I took a drive down South to Canada and I don't believe I've ever seen so much trash along the freeway.

Also, the Detroit River flows toward the Southwest, but there were whitecaps on the river heading Northeast and all the ice was pushed to the Canadian riverbank.

Bill Engval gave a great show. He had the audience and himself teary-eyed from laughing so hard, and the language was clean.

In my neighborhood this morning, neighbors were trying to get trash can lids back to their rightful owners.

...and all our snow is GONE. I was kinda gettin' to like the fresh, clean look the snow cover gives.

theres a landfill in coopersville (along i 96 north of gr, on the way to 'skegon) and LOTS of trash blew out and was cleaned up by people...

i like the no-snow look. a friend in pontiac said ya'lls getting snow this week....our temps are gonna be in the 30s and 40s so i don't know where its coming from? maybe canada. hmm it changed since i last looked! 20s, 30s and 40s all in one week! http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/fin ... uery=49506
