rolled car

Post by wannabe »

My friend rolled her car at about 3:30pm on the 29th...

She is in critical condition with a broken neck.

I will get/post pictures of her car tomorrow...Drew and I offered to take care of getting her belongings out of it for her parents, so they can spend as much time as possible with her in the hospital.

Image

my idea of what happened...i was told from her mom and a close friend of her families...

if you pray, please pray.

if you don't, please send well wishes, thoughts, whatever. she's gonna need them...

she has no feeling in 3 limbs, limited mobility in her arm...she's gonna need to get feeling back, and if she does, she's gonna need a lot of PT to get walking, dancing, etc again....

they're not sure yet if her spinal cord was severed or just pinched...in surgery they realigned her spine...

i'm gonna be spending a lot of time at the hospital...on the computer, visiting her, her family, praying, hanging out...filling out job apps online (:P). i have nothing else to do...

She was trying to talk to me and drew earlier, which is awesome.

She doesn't have feeling yet in her legs, but she can move her arms, not her fingers.

we're waiting for the swelling to go down in her spinal cord so she can hopefully regain feeling.

pretty much all us dancers want her to dance again :D

She was mouthing words at us, and she mouthed "i love you" when we left, which was awesome

Roll cage without proper 4 or 5 point harness is likely to do more bad than good. Granted it will hold to caving but it will not absorb any energy.

Its all good-- we are all friendly on here... I think..........

On another note, I hope and pray she gets better.

It sucks that happened the way it did....
