CTS GETS A NEW ENGINE
Cadillac will be pulling the wraps off an all-new CTS at the New York Auto Show next week. The company will also debut a new engine, a twin-turbo V6 that puts out 420 horsepower and a new 8-speed automatic transmission, which replaces a 6-speed. The engine is the most powerful V6 that General Motors has ever produced and pushes the CTS from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds. Those are BMW 5-series kinds of numbers. We will have to wait a week to see if the rest of the car can stand up to a BMW.

Hmmm... that puts it a little over just a hundred HP and torque of a CTS-V. I wonder what's in store for the next V? ZR-1-spec LS9?
