Oh, I know, I just wanted an excuse to use Colonel Klink.

Besides, they were idiots for not learning from Napoleon. You can't invade the Motherland, especially in winter.

Rain sensing wipers were invented as part of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Before that, blind drivers would go for miles with raindrops on their windshields and their wives complaining "Don't you think you should turn on the wipers?!!!". Many of them went deaf from this endless nagging.

I put them in the same class with handicapped parking spaces. Able-bodied drivers should be ashamed to use them!

Both of my friends have rain-sensing wipers and they hate 'em. I, in the meantime, am perfectly happy with the seven or so manual steps in the Focus.

Wait a minute, if they're blind, why are they driving in the first place, especially if they have a sighted wife? Even if, since they are now also deaf, why would the nagging bother them anymore?

For the same reason a blind person would not have their seeing eye dog do the driving for them.

Precisely!

Never underestimate the blind.
I once took a blind man for a ride in a tank and he told me what rpm the engine was running at.
I once took a blind boy for a bike ride on a BMX track, running alongside to steer and balance for him and tell him what was coming up....then he did another lap of the course pedaling, steering and balancing on his own as his friend ran up ahead and called out to him.

You are archaic. I finally threw in the towel and got a computer. It uses punch cards to input the data. Very reliable, virus proof too.

Have you all heard about the internet? It's a new invention designed to catch you if you fall asleep while using your telegraph or punch cards. Sits behind you, kind of like a hammock.

Now I'm scared. I still remember the Board of Education that would catch me sleeping frequently.
