Tired of passengers that are critical of your driving?

Post by Rope-Pusher »

JAGUAR UNVEILS SINGLE-SEAT RACER
At the Goodwood Festival of Speed this Friday, Jaguar will debut a concept, called Project 7. It is single-seat sports car that is based on the F-TYPE and has styling cues from D-type racers of the mid ‘50s. In fact, the 7 in the name refers to the seven victories Jaguar had at Le Mans between 1951 and 1990. The car retains the F-TYPE’s 5.0 liter supercharged V8 and 8-speed automatic transmission but power was increased by nearly 55 horsepower, which shoves the 7 to 60 in just 4.1 seconds. Changes include a retuned suspension with a lower ride height, lowered windshield, unique interior and plenty of carbon fiber pieces. And this was no long drawn out process either, the car went from experimental sketch to tearing up the track in just 4 months.

I read that the folks at Jaguar are only making One of these vehicles. Not sure why only one. I suppose if the One that they make is well received that like Doritos they will make more.
