Well, I know that Rope is in his 50's or so. At least that's what I think, based on everything he's said on this forum over a few years.

I voted in 26-35 rather than 16-25 because my birthday is next month and I doubt Ill ever remember to revote.

I am not ashamed to be old - I didn't pick my date of birth and I'm even a little proud of not having made the Darwin Awards list.

Traveling Wilburys good, Michael Jackson bad.

However, I attempted to listen anyway. As soon as it started, it sounded like some awful song I remembered by Whitney Houston or something, so I hit up the ol' Wikipedia.

It's not whatever song I thought it is, but I learned something amusing: R. Kelly's idol was Michael Jackson. I suppose that explains a few things. Image

I like the Wilburys because it consists of some great stars, Dylan, Petty, Harrison, Orbison and the other dude is from ELO I think. I am a big fan of Dylan and Like Petty a lot too. Harrison I don't have as much knowledge of, nor Orbison but that he had the bit hit Pretty Woman that was covered by Van Halen. ELO was not my favorite band though I though the lyrics on Turn to Stone (is that the title) were great. M Jackson was very talented but he got rather twisted in my opinion. One Jackson song I bought a 45 rpm disc of years ago was the duet with Paul McCartney.

Maybe I took that the wrong way, but it reminded me that some time in the 1980s, a parent reported that their kid asked them "Paul McCartney,.....Didn't he used to be in "Wings"?
