Re: Meet? Meet!
The Mrs. and I got married 4th of July weekend because family was all free then. We only invited a handful of friends, and they didn't have any scheduling conflicts. It worked out well AND I can pretty easily remember my anniversarywatkins wrote:We decided to avoid that weekend due to the proximity to July 4th. RP, I saw a news snippet that a couple moved their wedding time so they could watch an NCAA Tournament basketball game this past weekend. That's some dedication. Or a failure on their part considering they should have known the dates of the NCAA tournament if they were that big of fans. Either way.

Re: Meet? Meet!
I had to base my wedding on the availability of some people. But to be fair I did have a destination wedding. I does mean I have no particular attachment to my anniversary date though. Even three and a half years later I still consider our dating anniversary as the more important one.Squint wrote:The Mrs. and I got married 4th of July weekend because family was all free then. The important thing is which date is more important to Mrs. Watkins?watkins wrote:I had to base my wedding on the availability of some people. But to be fair I did have a destination wedding. I don't know - Watkins texted me the other day, and it seemed like there may have been some issues with those dates.

I'm planning a trip to Palo Duro and out west at some point this year, so my availability will likely be very limited, too.
