What's your budget?
What kind of car (yr/make) do you have?
What kind of music do you listen to?
What is going to power them?

Do not try to find 3rd, for you may not always reach it. Just go up and let it reach you!

I want to spend at most under 200 dollars. Im not to sure on what kind they should be. And do the ones with tweeters in them sound good or the seperate tweeters sound better.

Oh and to answer ur other questions, I have a 96 integra Ls and i am not putting in a sub box or amp so i could just use my battery. I like alternative, acoustic, indie, hip-hop, r&b. I really want good sound, not just bump from the bass. I was thinking of putting in tweeter but dont know if i should buy them seperately or get speaker with them in. I want to know which one is better.

A good component set will cost you over $200. That means you will have to settle for "built-in" tweeters. Still a whole lot better than stock.

Go to http://www.crutchfield.com, enter your car, and it will tell you which speakers fit.

You can purchase a nice set of components for $200, however without an amp or a decent HU it does not make sense.

Here are some 6.5" options....

I cannot vouch for these websites or prices as this was just to display some speakers you may want to look at.

because you only have 200 to spend total I would just hitup crutchfield, but in your car model and everything and then get a nice set of kickers for new front and rear speakers and that will take all your money. THE END

200 for the speakers only, im spending upto $300 for a deck. My friends told me that since im not buying a sub and box, then i shouldnt buy and amp so the speakers should just do fine. I think a good deck would comphensate for not having and amp.

I used Infinity reference speakers before, when I had a sub to handle the bass. They had great mid and high range.

w/o subs, I'd try the Infinity Kappas (are they still around?)

If this were 1994 and Kicker was still being produced by Stillwater Designs, I would tend to agree. Unfortunately, it is not. Do your research, listen, and buy. Crutchfield does not have the best pricing or the best product.
