So you finally got the bugs out of that missile intercepter you were working on out in the driveway?
How you ever got VTEC to work with a turbocharged rotary engine I'll never know.

FERRARI REVEALS ITS FASTEST STREET CAR EVER
Sergio Marchionne is also the chairman of Ferrari and it just unveiled the fastest street car it’s ever made, called the 812 Superfast. Here are the top stats: 800 horsepower V-12 with a claimed 2.9 second acceleration of 0 to 100 kilometers an hour and a top speed of 210 miles an hour. It’s priced at $308,000 but don’t bother to break out your checkbook. It’s completely sold out.

It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. You never know when you'll need your own missile defense system.

Yes, and don't forget it while shifting too...you wouldn't want to shift too early or too late.

Speaking of shifting too early,....
Just before she went to sleep, my 80-year-old grandmother set her clocks ahead one Saturday night, so the time would be correct when she awoke that Sunday morning.

Grandmother got up and walked the better part of a mile to Church. Nobody else was there. She was thinking that she must have falsely remembered resetting her clocks and was actually an hour late for the 8:00 am mass. She went inside and prayed by herself for a while and then walked back home.

What she didn't know was that her daughter had stopped by on Saturday, and thinking she was being helpful had ALSO set the clocks ahead by 1 hour, so rather than being late for mass, my grandmother had showed up at 7:00 am. When she heard the church bells ring out 8:00 am, she was already back home.

Tell me that none of you have ever attempted to help someone and had it go wrong. (This could be its own thread, right?)

I was in the car and in an unfamilar area last night when it was time to reset the clocks. I had SATNAV going at 1:15 and the durn thing told me I'd arrive at 3:03. This made no sense as the journey was to be about 50 minutes give or take. I started getting agitated until I realized the car resets itself.

my car apparently has an option to set time to satnav or whatever they call it. i activated that option when i went in to change the time tonight. my car not only fixed the hour but fixed the minutes too so, when i thought i was running on time heading to work tonight, i soon (upon consulting my smartphone) realized that my cars clock was no longer running 6 minutes fast...  :x

Mine is like that too. It set the calendar to the correct date and now I'm really late to get where I am going.
