Was thinking specifically of The Boxer. After all a WRX is a boxer, and could likely slip slide away.

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
I have a confession to make.
I really don't miss the manual now that it's been since November 2016 that I'd given it up (in a car, at least). If and when I get another coupe/sporty hatch/Jeep it will have to be manual-only but for now, no thanks.
That said, I cannot fathom a scenario where I would want a manual motorcycle, which do exist and I'm not talking about scooters.

Based on consext clues I'm guessing he meant motorcycles that play with themselves.

Do you own a dog? They scoot their back end.

I've had gogs. They scoot when the rear brakes are stuck.

Tony,
You got the obligatory Pick-m-Up now, so you can pass for Texan, right?
Are you settled-down enough to think of getting out of renting and buying your own home?

at this thread!!
pretty sure tone bone meant he would never consider getting a road bike, as in one that has to be shifted (and powered) manually. manual MTBs are okay (but singlespeeds are lame) though.

Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
blasted subaru tax on top of slow depreciation will be the death of me. still have to wait at least several months to be more right-side up (or less upside-down??) on the Golf. look at it as getting out of that overpriced lease or getting something else. could also try refinancing at that point too. contenders as of current are the wrx, legacy 3.6r, forester xt, cadillac ats, buick regal and others i can't think of at the moment. all most likely at least a couple of years used. still have physical issues so would still probably have to be auto. blame it on the pizza.tankinbeans wrote:Was thinking specifically of The Boxer. Re: Misc Thread VI: Return of the Threadi
it's only been 5 months. give it a few more months then let us know if you miss the stick. i do now and then (not as much as expected), but i also know i couldn't go back to the manual as a daily driver (would have to be a second/weekend car), at least in my current state.AHTOXA wrote:I have a confession to make.

That's a silly design. He should get one shaped like a 7. Here's an architect's mockup:Rope-Pusher wrote:Tony,
