I have their "BORED" shirt, got one for my brother, too. Today's shirt is another great one for the manual-head:

Is it the firing-order of an inline-6 engine? Maybe that is it.

Yepper. That's It! Read across it gives the firing order. Follow the numbers consecutively it gives the firing positions in actual physical order.six wrote:Is it the firing-order of an inline-6 engine? Maybe that is it.
153624
That double effect does not happen with the standard 4 cylinder firing order:
1342
The puzzle now is for me to figure out why. (EDIT: Got it. It's just an artifact of the firing order. The 4-banger would do it also if we had a firing order of 1324.)
Alas, after 34 years I no longer have an inline six.
