I don't even own a car company!potownrob wrote: ↑Tue May 21, 2019 12:30 amYou know, Rope, your company isn't much if any better (end eye'm knot even tall king rely ability wise). just because the suits don't have a history of acting like anal-retentive robots doesn't make them any better... https://www.detroitnews.com/story/busin ... /38872193/Rope-Pusher wrote: ↑Mon May 20, 2019 8:27 pmI just know that somehow, VW will produce EVs that pollute, but in a way that the EPA can't measure. They found a way to do it with their diesels, right? ...And now, from the folks that brought you WWII, they'll apply the same know-how to come up with batteries that turn into toxic waste when their lives are over, and recharging stations that rely on (Rolling)-coal-fired powerplants, and open-pit-eyesores from rare earth mining.

But if I did, it wouldn't be that lyin' cheatin' scumbag company known as VW.
They are the Energizer Bunnies of cheaters. Making diesel cars for all those years, knowing they weren't meeting the emissions standards, and crowing about how clean and green their diesel motors were because of their superior Chermin technology.....
Anyway, getting down off my soapbox, I'll say that any and all battery electric cars have batteries that need to be treated as toxic waste, recharging stations that get their power from polluting sources, and use rare earth elements whose mining you wooden want in YOUR backyard. ANY car company that participates in this madness is as guilty as the others.
