Re: FS: 2006 Mazdaspeed6 GT Whitewater Pearl Mica, 32000 miles
Hey Leedeth,
Here are your answers...
- How low will I go? What is your offer?
- Unfortunately, I will have to turn down your offer of the Firebird.
- I've never dynoed the car, but I estimate 240-250AWHP, 260 lb/ft AWTQ, based on 91 octane gas and dynos of stock MS6s. With the bolt ons, I probably estimate an additional 5 to 10 horsepower.
- The boost is not controllable. The wastegate determines it. Peaks at 19psi sometimes. You'll need a tuner (the AccessPORT from COBB) if you want to "fine tune" the boost.
- I bought the car new in Feb. 2006. It now has 31600 miles.
- My specific MS6 cost $30,000 new.
- Unfortunately, I do not have the stock wheels anymore. The stock wheels were 18x7.5 ET55, and the stock tires were 215/45R18. The Ultraleggeras are 18x8 ET48, and the tires that are on them now are 225/45R18.
- The moon roof tilts up, and also completely opens. The difference between sunroofs and moonroofs is that moonroofs are glass, and sunroofs are not. Therefore, you can have extra light without having to open the roof.
Hope this helps.

What options did you leave out when you bought the car, and which ones did you get?
Have you looked into upgrading the turbo to a bigger one? What options for upgrading are there?
Is the intercooler upgradeable, or is the stock one already a sufficient size?
How reliable is 15.7 PSI? How is the reliability of the car?
How fast is the car, 0-60 and quarter mile?
I read in another thread that AWD systems aren't created equal. If you had no traction on both front wheels, would the system transfer enough power to the rear wheels to move the car forward?
Why should I get this car over a Subaru Impreza WRX or STi or a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution? Is this car comparable to those?
Could you get more pics, like the same places as this guy? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda-Ma ... 3aUSQ3a101
Why did you choose white as the color?

Answers...
- Sorry, way too low.
- The only option for the MS6 GT was the navigation system, which I did not get.
- I have not wanted to upgrade to a bigger turbo, but there are many who did. There are Garrett GT3071R, GT3076R, and GT3582R kits made by ATP for the MS6. Or you could go custom.
- The intercooler is upgradeable, whether you want a bigger TMIC, or a FMIC. Many options available.
- The reliability is great, so far. Never had any problems, and I drove it everyday. Literally.
- According to magazines and experience, the car gets on average 5.5-6.0 sec. 0-60, 13.5-14.0 sec. quarter stock.
- AWD systems aren't created equal. The MS6 can do up to a 50/50 split. Not driver-selectable like Subaru or Evo.
- You should NOT get this car over an STi or Evo, because they are not comparable. This car is more comparable to a Subaru Legacy GT or Acura TL Type-S. STi and Evo are more performance oriented. The MS6 has performance, but is more oriented towards refinement.
- I apologize for the lack of pics. I wish I had more time to take some.
- I chose white because it's a rarer color for the MS6 and it contrasts nicely with the black accents.

Just some constructive criticism, try cleaning off your engine bay and the gunk under/near your floormats before you take pictures
GL with the sale, but I'll be sad to see your namesake go.

Hi Leedeth.
Sorry, $16,000 is the lowest I'll go. That's already $2500 off KBB. If it doesn't sell at $16,000, I'm probably going to have to keep it... or total it . Just kidding, about the totalling part.

Maybe so, but parting out an 06 Mazdaspeed6 would be so painful.LHOswald wrote:sell it for parts. MOAR MONEYSSSS

Sell it for parts? The market is too small. There are less than 10,000 MS6s in the entire North American continent.

Yeah. My friend had a Monte Carlo Yellow convertible Viggen. There were 68 MCY Viggens made. Six came to the US in convertible form. There are four left. That is without a doubt the most rare car I have ever seen.six wrote:^ Wow, talk about rare lol. I didn't know that. That's rarer than Ferraris and stuff.
