Re: 2006 Dodge Charger
Youse kids are all spoilt these days. I remember when anything under 12 seconds for 0-60mph was "Sporty" compared to the cars that took 18-21 seconds to get up to 60. The quickest of the quick have always been quick, but the average acceleration times have improved greatly over the years. I can't say that life on earth has improved much because of it.

Such as? GT500s and Vettes crack 12s stock, I'm curious about this FWD wonder.fa22raptorf22 wrote:Wowwww.AHTOXA wrote:I was just reading and the 2.7 V6 charger does 0-60 in over 11 seconds.
There are some FWD's that can finish the 1/4 by time that thing hits 60 hahaha.

Re: 2006 Dodge Charger
so, te other day before teh snow fell, we were out for a drive (happens...its the one time we get to be alone and talk...its peaceful) and we took the charger, and he stopped in the middle of the road. and then he started, WOT. he was trying to spin his tires, but i counted till it got up to 60 and it only took 10 seconds...still slow, but not as slow as it could be...

Re: 2006 Dodge Charger
Counting - inaccurate
Speedometer - inaccurate
Unless he brake-torqued and you had a stop watch, it was probably still 11+ to 60

I don't know, I doubt it can get to 60 in 11 seconds, maybe...I'll have to try sometime I guess.
