They have.

We're all going to keep dreaming, of course, but it's not going to happen anytime in the near future, if at all.

More importantly: Will it have a manual gearbox, or just the announced paddle-slushie affair? :?

Looks like a cross between a boxster and a Rx8.

Any sources that aren't just speculation?

EDIT: Had to do some research, cuz I've heard plenty on both sides of this issue..
These pics are apparently of the upcoming Lexus LF-A, which can pretty much be considered the 'next Supra'.
However, there will be no more actual "Toyota Supras".. at least not for the time being.

Nope... You can never be certain until they actually announce that it is going to go into production.

I'm getting there. There is one near me, for 3600, it has a cracked front lip, and needs a new ac compressor, but I figure I can just use some bondo or something until I get 2000 to buy a full body kit. Its a stick too. Thats the best part, but my mom is like "if it needs a new ac compressor, he probably would've fixed it by now, so theres probably something else wrong with it" yeah, there could be, but my dad wants to spend only 3k, so hell, theres gonna be problems with almost any car you only spend 3k on, so why not get a sweet ass car if its still gonna have problems

exactly...you should get a fiero 6-cyl...the fire problems were mainly with the 2.5L 4cyl "iron duke"...you can probably find one you like under 3K, and parts, etc. are no problem since it is a cult car...(this is my advice if you CANT find a 300zx for under 3K, which you probably wont...i'd probably go 300zx over fiero though)...plus the fiero is ligt, it has two seats, so you wont get people bumming rides off you often, and it has a rear mounted engine, which gives it pretty good handling.
