Not that any of us actually do drive recklessly, I know...but what kind of songs get you in the mood to do a little "spirited" driving?
As for me, I made a sweet mix of '80s stuff...Motley Crue, Scorpions, Quiet Riot, etc... (Metal Health is excellent, btw--can't help but lay a little rubber when that comes on.)
How 'bout you guys?
I drive a Phantom Black 2005 GTO M6. I commute in a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited.

This is gonna cover two ends of the spectrum, but:
- Heavy metal/metalcore music, especially with lots of guitar/double-bass/shredding.
- 300+bpm techno.
I'm... dynamic. What can I say?

I listen to Trance. That's pretty much it, whether to put me in a driving mood or not.

If I'm driving recklessly I don't like any music on. I like having the windows rolled down, so I can hear the engine, my tires, etc etc.

Listening to Muse while blowing the speed limit by 10-15... plus
In some residential.
In my defense I was delivering pizza on this route for the second time in a row. Plus it was the side streets, not the housing streets.

I have to say one of the best driving songs is Everlong by the Foo Fighters.
When driving spiritedly I usually play a mix I made just for the occation. It usually consits of loud fast rock/metal/alternative. I love older AFI for drives too.

Rage Against the Machine, Metallica, some Incubus and 311, Rehab, Black Eyed Peas, Kilo Ali, and Outkast are my best spirited driving selections.

I like to listen to my engine if not ill throw some Bullet For my Valentine in ...only sometimes though, if not ill just shut the music off...
I would just like to clarify that when i drive above the speed limit, i am not being w reckless, i do the same thing as when i do the speed limit, check for blind spots, signal for turns, and stop at stop signs, speeding on side streets for me is a no no, but if im on a more commercial street i pay just as much if not more attention to the road than when im not angry/ driving fast.
