well, here is what my mustang should look like (minus the cobra fascia and badges) once I get my new headlihgts. I think I'm then gonna paint my pony with a semi-gloss black. Should look really nice. If I like the direction its going, then I'll eventually get tint and wheels. I figure it will help my resale value a bit nayways, because before long, every ricer in town is gonna have SN95 stangs, and they'll see my car, and be like "ooooohhhh a wing and some stickers and I'll be F&F tight"

I think that will look pretty sick.

Ooh. That'll be very nice. Post pics when you've got the headlights.

I'm kinda annoyed, my Dad is against me doing anything to my Celica, including putting in a Stereo, putting on an S2000 antenna, and changing all of the lights to red.

Yet, he wants me to go out and get custom leather seats because my drivers seat is a little worn at the side.

Meh.
Also, girls suck.

haha, my parents are the same way. My dad wont let me buy new decent tires, yet he's been telling me all this time to get new headlights.
Gah.

And what do you mean by "girls suck" lol

I am now looking at getting a run-down truck and using that as a project car, since I want a truck anyway for off-roading. You know...the kind of driving where there's no chance you'll run into a cop. :D

So far I've found three and maybe I'll check them out soon:

http://victoria.craigslist.ca/car/480027838.html
http://victoria.craigslist.ca/car/469033907.html
http://victoria.craigslist.ca/car/468729412.html

Should I go for it, seeing as there's no chance I'll get an MR2 anytime soon, and since I have a car already?

I don't see any of those being off roading vehicles. You've got to have a pretty tough truck for offroading.

I wouldn't spend 400 bucks on a truck, and expect it to be an offroading truck without a heck of a lot of work.

And I certainly wouldn't get the one with the blwon timing belt and bent valves. That means a fullrebuild, which is gonna cost you a grand probably by the time its all said and done.

stangs are so beautiful when blacked out like that. im tempted to do that to my probe when i go to rustoleum it in the spring. gloss black, douse the tails and the corners with vht nightshades, get some tint later on. that would be so awesome looking when waxed

I'd maybe try and find a older Toyta Tacoma, not too old though.

I still just can't believe that my Dad won't let me get an antenna even. He's like "Well, what will it do?" and I'm like, "Well, it just looks better, and it's $7."

Eh. I have plans for the Celica. I'm going to put in a nice custom nav system and an HUD and stuff.

Would they at least be good for logging roads and such?

you want a big 3 truck for off roading. big american V8 (351, or a 454, thats torque out the ass, and thats what your looking for for ORing.

those are cheap to get (i see 302s and 351windsors on craigslist for like 300-400 all the time), and they will be pretty cheap to rebuild.

a bronco with a 351 windsor, thats a good OR truck

Yep, but the worse part is that I have stuff I'm supposed to be doing like homework, but I'm just browsing the web.

i took a couple hour nap when i got back from my drafting final.
i got another final tomorrow (well, today for that matter) at like 3pm, im not tired, and im not going to bed. and im sure as hell not studying either. i never studied for anything in my whole life, and im not starting now. studing is a waste of time IMO

i dont go to bed until im tired. that happens at random times. sometimes im wore out at 9pm, sometimes i last like like 3am. i have no sleep schedule whatsoever, and i dont care.

yep. I got yelled at today because i was late for work. and I'm staying up late again. I hate it when i cant sleep, it sucks. I popped a couple aspirin at 11:00 but they didnt do much. I hate being tired and miserable in the mornin, not a good way to start the day off.

I was reading through the stuff on autopia and read this:

There are two types of people in the world: car people and everyone else. You can always spot a true car person. They're the ones that give a look back at their car as they walk away from it in a parking lot. Everyone else simply walks away without a second thought. After all, to the non-car person, a vehicle is just transportation; a mere utility for getting here and there.

Now I must watch closer when at parking lots. :D
