New England Winter Break Meet
So how 'bout it?
Sometime the last week of December or first two weeks of January.
The good thing about New England is that nothing is far. Lets get something together. I know I have a few outside friends who would be interested. Neither of them has a stick at the moment, but we're a nice group of eliteists, right?

From the snow driving thread:

Anywho, I personally am willing to go 2ish hours, maybe a little more depending.

Come on guys, stick with over here
One of my favorite roads is Rt 202 and Prescott Rd/ Cooleyville Rd/ Leverett Rd/ Shutesbury Rd. out by Amherst. Mountain roads with great scenery and fun twisties.
The pike isnt fun at all. Its expensive (though the Penna Pike is way worse) and all it is is a highway.eaglecatcher wrote:The Mass Pike would be an awesome cruise. Cruise out to Worcester (or farth, dunno how long they want) and then head back into Boston.
If you guys were going to Boston, theres an Italian Restaurant called Giacomo's in the North End, stellar food. Then there are the two best bakeries in Boston a few steps away for desert.
But boston is a ways away from NYC ain't it.

I really want to drive your car, so Im glad youre interested.ComradeTony wrote:I'm down for a meet in the Greater Boston-ish area.
Have any suggestions for somewhere to go?
Ive got a friend out there. Thats a pretty good drive. I know what you mean about midterms though. Be glad to have you for sure so that can be kept in mind.black94boost wrote:Would have to depend on area and time. During the start of January is when my midterms and papers begin I'm coming from Rochester, btw.

I won't even let really close friends drive my car, nevermind some stranger on a message board. So chances of that happening are nil. But as for places to go, there are some good driving roads in southern NH like the Nashua/Salem area.
